Experience historic golf. This is a very rustic 9 hole golf course-reminesient of golf days gone by. The park is named in honor of N.R. Goodale, a Camden florist who was largely responsible for the aquisition of the park for Kershaw County in the early 1950s. Cypress trees line the spring-fed lake which offers swimming, boating and fishing. The 763-acre park features a nine-hole golf course for the novice golfer. The park lake is on the site of an old mill pond that dates back to Cival War days. The lake is a haven of cypress trees, water birds and other plants and wildlife.
