Beautifully nestled between two rivers in Oviedo (northeastern Orlando), Twin Rivers Golf Club was designed by Joe Lee. Eighteen unique and challenging holes are surrounded by environmentally protected areas and feature a test of golf that is challenging yet fair. Our signature hole is number seven, a par three. What makes this hole so unique is its peaceful and beautiful surroundings. A golfer may be lucky enough to see some wildlife such as deer, alligator, raccoon, wild turkeys, and a wide varitey of native birds, without seeing a single house! My advice on playing #7 is to take a little more club and just get on the very large island green. To work on those last few quirks in your game we have a driving range on property and a teaching professional on staff, and if you forget a collared shirt or need a new glove, we have a wide range in our full-service clubhouse. We try to make outings special by learning as much as we can about the group. This enables us to tailor the challenges to the event, ie if it is a ladies' group we may place the longer drive markers on shorter holes to make it more fun and less daunting for them. Our dining area has recently been enlarged, which enables us to host larger groups more comfortably. Combined with the top-notch catering abilities of our staff, we can make any event a success! Our course offers many challenges for high handicappers to the scratch golfer. In 1999 we hosted a Hooters Tour event. Some of comments we received from the Hooters players were: a challenging course, great layout, good greens. |
